Swing set must be anchored in the ground perfectly so that it does not slip when the kids play on it. it must be the topic priority while setting it up. The ideal are concrete anchors that provide stability but if the swing is being placed on a concrete ground then one-piece or two-piece anchors can be used without the concrete.
How to anchor the swing set?
- Mark the place for the swing legs: – this place will be easy to mark on soft ground, but for concrete one can use the piece which will be used as the anchor. It is important to mark the space carefully as the swing will be set on the anchor.
- Dig holes at these points:- All the four legs of the anchor should be safely set in, thus dig holes at four legs. While using piece anchors twist the pieces in the ground in this case the pieces will form the whole and there is no need for a separate process. - Put the swing in place: – The swing should be now placed back with the anchors enact. The soft ground will need a concrete to cover the wholes up and will require 24 hours for it to set properly, in case of piece anchors the swing should be nailed onto them. Safety must be the priority of all parents. The anchors provide stability to the swing so that the kids can enjoy without tension. The anchors choice should be made with detailed understanding of the ground and should not be done in haste.
